Wi-Fi Smoke Detector with photoelectric sensor

With a design of small dimensions, Ø11x4.5 centimetres, this photoelectric smoke detector is used to react and give early warning of the initial stage of latent fire. Photoelectric smoke detectors are the most commonly used in private homes and businesses such as shops or offices, as their detection capacity is greater for smoke produced by common materials in these spaces such as wood, fabrics and wool or cotton fabrics, among others.

It consists of an LED light emitter and a photosensitive receiver. The LED light is arranged in such a way that, under normal conditions, it does not reach the field of action of the receiver. However, once smoke enters the device, the light will be scattered and the receiver will pick it up, at which point it will generate the alert with an audible alarm.

Thanks to its 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi technology, which allows the device to be paired with the "Smart Life" mobile application, you will be able to control the detector and receive alarm notifications remotely. Pairing the detector with the mobile application is very simple as once you connect the 9V alkaline battery to the detector it will enter its pairing mode. If you wish to disconnect the pairing or re-pair manually, press and hold the TEST button for 5 seconds until the LED starts flashing and makes a short beep, at which point you can re-pair with the app.

From the Smart Life app itself, you can set up "scenes" so that other devices in your smart home can be activated once abnormal levels of smoke or carbon monoxide are detected. Also of note is its compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

When the device detects the smouldering fire, the device's 85DB audible alarm will activate and send a notification via the mobile app. Once the levels return to normal, the device's alarm will stop and re-enter its normal mode.
This device also has a "TEST" button with which you can test the operation as well as temporarily silence the alarm manually. The alarm can also be silenced remotely via the mobile app.
